Gnomes! With gold hats! There is absolutely nothing not to love.

I find myself strangely attracted to this moss wall hanging planter by Mr Lentz. It's a simple plank of cedar stained with walnut husks and black tea then sealed with a little flax seed oil. It's topped with a piece of dried moss. While it reads more like the ingredients for a exotic salad, it actually makes a nice piece of wall art.
The Offset Bench from West Elm is the perfect entryway piece, especially if yours is a "shoes off, please" home. With a nicely upholstered cushion (available in red, beige, or grey), taking those shoes off or tying them back on just got a whole lot easier for guests--and yourself! As for the extra storage on the side? BONUS!
Cutting boards are a secret obsession of mine, mostly because they all look so easy to make, and I'm hankering to turn out a bunch of mine own. These Trapezoid Bread Boards from Task have some nice subtle details. Made from blonde hickory they are the perfect thing for cheese and charcuterie.
OK, I fully admit the words "Borosilicate Glass Water Cooker" mean nothing to me. I just think it looks good. About:
Holding a good one-and-a-half litres, this beautifully-designed teapot first boils the water for you (the gently domed base ensures that the glass can’t crack when heated on a stove). Then simply fill the sieve with your favourite tea and place it in the boiling water: keep it warm on stove or cooker – no fussy tea warmer with candles needed!
The Pools Collection from Fleet is a complete ceramic tableware series consisting of mix-n-match vessels and lids that can be used for a variety of purposes: vases, soup bowls, pencil holders, serving dishes, you name it! I'm especially fond of the idea of combining the spotted lid with one of the taller vessels as a vase--what's your favorite combination?
My name is Capree and I approve these mugs! (Also, the brown version looks pretty stellar on that teak coaster, yes?)
I always like a good clock, and the minimalist in me really really likes a good white clock. The Modern Numbers Clock by uncommon is a simple recipe for success. Take a plain white face, laser engrave some neutraface numbers into it, add a chunky set of aluminum hands and prosper. Also available in poppy red, chartreuse, and ash grey.
Pantone housewares (ornaments, tins, and mugs--oh my!) have been hot items for a while now, but did you know that there is an actual Pantone hotel?? For real. It's in Belgium. And it's full of colorful, Pantone-y goodness. I'm not usually a "hang out in hotel lobbies" kind of person, but I might make an exception in this case. Also, can you imagine what their gift shop is like? Pantone heaven, most likely. Check out more here.
I'm a big big fan of bent plywood, especially for chairs. I've seen a lot of good ones too, but I don't think I have ever seen one with as compound curves as impressive as this Loop 3D Wood chair. According to the website, all this magic is accomplished by "...special technology where the multilayer pre-treated 3D wood is bent to form a double curvature without breaking."
However they do it, it's hot.
Multi-functional and modular with Mid-Century style? Yes, please! The Silenos series from Innovation may just be the best combination of form and function ever. The collection includes a chair, sofa bed, and full size sofa in your choice of two great woven fabrics. Mix and match to create an array of setups for lounging or sleeping!
I can't remember if there were pictures of this Workshop Lamp last time I checked in with Sami Kallio Studio, but I recently revisited the Cargo Collective and fell in love with it. As with much of their work it features a clean juxtaposition of powder coated steel and clear finished woods. The details are amazing.

These letterpress coasters take inspiration from Mid-Century art as well as ethnic patterns and textiles, a stunning combination if I do say so myself! You can snag them in sets of 8 in either a white/black or gold/black color scheme.
I've been looking for a good french press for a long time now, and last week I was absolutely delighted when a picture of these Ceramic Cafe´ Style Coffee / Tea presses from Golden Calf arrived in my inbox. I'm absolutely in love with them, especially the turquoise one in front. Lucky for me Maxwell Silver has had the turquoise and mandarin in stock, but if you are wanting another color you need to do some searching. For Life Design has red and white (also available through amazon) but I haven't found any of the other colors available online. Does anyone have any experience with these french presses? Do you have a favorite french press?

Check out the french press for one too!
It's been a year now since we first mentioned the amazing collage work of Kareem Rizk. I'm happy to say though that we are still as much in love with his work as we were then. I'm even happier to that he has some new work for me to drool over. If you like his work, make sure you head over to his Etsy shop to pick up a very reasonably priced piece.
Oh, yes. Yes, this wood and canvas lap desk is just the thing for working from home! I can see myself now, all comfy cozy, blogging from my fake womb chair. Yes indeedy.
Having made my fair share of furniture I can really appreciate when something not only looks good, but is extremely hard to execute. The Monarch coffee table is all about the base. It assembles with zero fasteners or glue, simply interlocking the 4 legs that make up the base. Simple, (at least to look at, probably not to make) effective, and beautiful.
A modern take on the classic mantle clock, the "Really Simple Clock" from design group Thelermont Hupton is made of bent Beech ply and powder coated aluminum. This minimal timepiece is available for a cool $100 from A+R Store.
One of the great things about the internet is it makes you think you absolutely need things that you didn't even know existed. For example, I am now pretty sure that my life can not be complete without having at least one vintage Polish movie poster in my house. Thanks a lot eyeseaposters. Thanks a lot.
