Much of the furniture we buy these days is made of particle board with some sort of veneer on it. It's not just because it's a cheap substrate either, it's stable, flat, easy to work with, and yeah, it's cheap too. So what happens if you ditch the veneer? Jens Praet explores the idea with her Particle Credenza. It features your standard particle board with a high gloss lacquer. I'm actually a fan of the look overall, although I do wonder a bit about durability, especially the side of the door that appears to be cut at a 45 degree angle (see photo's after the jump).
