I recently admitted to my obsession for all things felt. With that in mind, you can imagine my delight when I came across these fantastic felt Christmas ornaments by Filz. Available in a myriad of wonderful colors each ornament set comes with two 3.5" x 3.5" ornaments and a grey satin ribbon to hang them by. My personal favorites are the Schneeflocke ornaments (top right).
Rather than sending these through the mail to get damaged and scratched, I think I'd frame them as prints! Beautiful mid-century inspired birds from artist Dee Adams, available in limited supply from Rare Device. Get 'em before they're gone!
I am in love with this DIY plumbing pipe shelving project from Brickhouse. We have a big white wall that has been begging for some shelving for a while, and this might just be the ticket. Made of off the shelf plumbing parts and some stained pine planks, this shelving unit makes a big statement without costing a lot of money. The fine folks at Brickhouse spent about $200 on the one shown here, and have been kind enough to share a complete list of all the parts and pieces that went into making it. Make sure you check out the before and after pictures to see what a dramatic effect it has on the room.

The Gorrinucha piggy bank was designed by Milrayas & Ceramics San Gines for a contest in Spain. Originally it was never planned to put it into production, but the demand has been so high that they are getting a batch ready for Christmas. Pricing is unknown at this time, but for more information you can sign up for updates on their website.
Goodness, gracious, great balls of fire! (Sorry, I couldn't resist.) The Lighthouse Ball is available as a tea light holder or outdoor oil lamp, in glossy black or white porcelain. Ok, I fully admit that I'm a dude and I know absolutely nothing about purses. That being said, I do know that I love anything made with felt, and these Eco Lola purses from ZAUM have certainly caught my eye. Moleskin has released two special notebook editions to go along with MoMA's exhibition, Bauhaus 1919–1933: Workshops for Modernity. The cashiers set and exhibition box set are available exclusively at MoMA. The box set includes three ruled cashiers notebooks, one rules pocket notebook and Bauhaus inspired stickers amongst other goodies.

Minimalists will love this relief printed calendar from Philip Luscombe. Embossed using brass die parts and a hand press, this 2010 calendar is beautifully simple. I love the symbols to mark holidays and even Daylight Saving Time. This calendar is not quite available yet, but you can keep an eye on Philip's site for an announcement.
We've featured some pretty cool watering cans here on GRM in the past, but none quite like this one. Designed by French-born Pascal Charmolu this innovative watering can is made of 18-0 stainless steel. I literally laughed out loud at a couple of these. It's good to see that even back in the day that the commercials they had on TV were just as innovative as the products they were selling.
We have featured these fantastic miniature classic chairs and tables from the Australian company Little Nest previously on GRM. At the time they were only available down under, but things are going to change. Word on the block is that next week the Little Nest website is going to get an overhaul to cater more to the United States. Product is already stateside and ready to ship.
