Sadly, this picture mostly reminds me of the Burke tulip base sitting in my breakfast nook waiting for restoration. Happily, the Visual Philosophy Etsy shop is full of wonderful mid century modern inspired posters and prints. Right now, I'm strangely drawn to the coffee related ones, but maybe that's just because I haven't had my first cup o joe yet.

I think it's only appropriate to close out the week with a little color. French Riviera anyone? This bold A3 sized print designed by DavidDavid is just the thing to add a little cheer to anyones day. Part of a signed edition of 100. If you love his bold pattern and color, make sure you check out his t shirts and scarves (ohh, those lovely scarves) on Bigcartel.

I love these prints by Rob Bailey, especially this first one entitled "YOU". I'm pretty much a sucker for any overlapping translucent style prints. Some of his latest work is available on his site for a very reasonable price.

I love cooking. Mostly because I love eating. Thus it follows that I love holiday's, because at my house that always means good cooking. So I thought it applicable leading up to this holiday weekend that I share these great Kitchen Art Prints by TexturedINK. Three 11" x 14" prints for $38.

This charming animal calendar is great for kids (of all ages!) and is available as a pdf download, so you can print as many as you like. I really love the illustration style, don't you??
I was discussing with a friend the other day how Fab.com conitinues to absolutely kill the competition discount online sites. They still have hands down the best curated selection of goodies for the home out there. Point in case is todays collection of fantastic prints by the talented Becky Hui Chan. I'm especially a fan of the Geometric Shapes print shown above, and at only $17, it's practically irresistible. If you are already a Fab.com member, you know what to do, if you haven't joined yet, get sign up now!

Checking out these new posters for Design Philadelphia, I could help but feel a little nostalgic for last year's event (blogged here and here). It looks like the 6th year of this design celebration is in good hands, though, with the guys at Nom Now. The collective includes talented designers Mike Smith, Matt Goold, Nick Kulick, and Mike Smyjewski, who were tasked with creating this year's promo posters. I'd say they did a pretty stellar job! Check out the complete series right here.
I love finding Etsy shops where the artist is based outside of the united states. Eszter Schall is a graphic designer from Budakeszi, Hungary who brings a wonder folk art feeling to her prints. Her pieces are affordable, and full of whimsy and delight. Besides these wonderful prints, Eszter also has a blog devoted to her less folk inspired, but equally wonderful wedding invitations.

Anyone else find irony in the fact that the braille alphabet looks absolutely stunning? Especially once it gets a little help from Edu Barba. This fantastic signed A3 sized print is available for a mere $18 plus shipping. That is if Edu ever gets off his vacation.

Eloise Renouf is a UK-based stationery and textile designer whose Etsy shop features large limited edition prints of some of her designs. I'm a big fan of her retro / MCM aesthetic, aren't you? If so, be sure to snag a print or two from her shop and check back often - she's always adding new pieces!
Original artwork for less than $100 seems like a pretty dang good deal to me, especially when it's as cool as these abstract paintings from Flatfile. My favorite pieces are from the Color Blocks series (pictured above), but check out all the available pieces right here.
My ever-growing stash of artwork and prints is about to get bigger thanks to Jill C. Lee, the talent behind Beau Ideal Editions. I spotted her colorful screen prints on Etsy a little while ago and have been coveting them ever since. I'm especially obsessed with her "You, Me, and Everyone..." series, pictured above. Check out more of her work here and snag a print or two from her shop while you're at it!
Love color? May I present to you the UNESCO City of design posters by FEED. I'm really into bold layered colors lately and this body of work by FEED definitely takes it to a new level. These posters are jammed so full of wonderful color and pattern it's like fireworks in my brain.

Enormous Champion is a Brooklyn-based letterpress and screen printing shop run by collaborative partners (and real life couple) Jordan Provost and Jason Wong. They have a line of printed goods ranging from tea towels to prints to note cards. I especially love their playful take on the classic houndstooth and herringbone patterns created with bunnies, seagulls, bats, and eagles. Take a peek at their shop and see what tickles your fancy!
Hello there beautiful geometric shapes and colors. Yes, you do look fantastic both on that quilt and on those cards.
Carson Too makes some of the absolutely most beautiful modern quilts on Etsy, but if you don't have the funds for a big purchase you can still get in on the goodness by picking up a set of his greeting cards. I suggest getting some cards now, and starting saving for the quilt for Christmas. You deserve it.
