I was looking on ebay this morning for some MCM goodness to dream about over the weekend, and I came across this great Eames Soft Pad Chair. Part of the aluminum work group, these chairs ooze style and comfort. Like all good pieces of furniture I think a gently used version looks even better than a brand new one. Don't believe me? Check one out yourself. If you are in SLC you are in luck, because The Green Ant just got two of these beauties in.

Leather cases with contrast stitch detailing? Yummy! Whether you've got a tablet, a laptop, or a smartphone, CB2's got you covered. Extra random bonus: each of these cases comes with an exterior business card slot.

"Fashioned by" was formed in 2011 as a collaboration between Farrah Sit and Dana D'Amico who met in 2005 and together designed for Calvin Klein Home. Rooted in a shared design philosophy and common aesthetic, Farrah and Dana have created a collection reflecting honesty to materials and a timeless, minimalistic beauty.
What I love about the collection most is the thoughtful materials used. The porcelain hanging pots come with a vegetable tanned leather strap and antique brass fastener. The desk items have a similarly strong set of materials. Leather, walnut, ash, brass, porcelain, you just can't go wrong.

Oh, yes. Yes, this wood and canvas lap desk is just the thing for working from home! I can see myself now, all comfy cozy, blogging from my fake womb chair. Yes indeedy.

Leather and gold? Sounds like a great combo to me! Freshly Picked has leather mouse pads and pencil cups in three classy combos: white/tan, charcoal/tan, or gold/tan (my fave). Check out the goods here.
I love when a simple object gets reinvented. Take for example the pencil. It's about time someone sexy'd that little guy up a little. The pocket clip pencil has to be one of the better looking ones I've seen in a while too. In fact it's so good looking I'm not quite sure how I would feel about having it hide in my pocket.

I love decorated packaging tape. It seems like such a fun and easy way to spice up just about anything that needs a little tapping. This original design by UK designer Joanna Rutter is absolutely fantastic. It has a great vintage + scandinavian feel to it. If you love it, you better snatch it up quick as this is the last roll from this design series.

If you know me, you know I like simple solutions to complex problems. The problem I have is a desk full of clutter. As we speak the only two bare spots on my desk are being occupied by my coffee, and my breakfast. Solution? Realistically the answer is to quit being lazy and clean my desk up, but I'd like to think that this Up Filer, a vertical wall-mounted filing system from Westerville Design, would help. It's so simple that it's hard to believe that this solution hasn't existed before. I also like that the Up Filer is made of wood and chrome instead of plastic like so many other office organizers.

These gorgeous desktop organizers are handmade by Irish designer Karolin Felix and are available in a variety of finishes. You can buy the complete set or individual pieces (like this simpleblock pencil holder). I love the idea of using the paper clip holders as small planters, like Karolin shows in the product photos! Pretty clever.

Is it weird that I can get excited about something as boring sounding as a stapler and tape dispenser? Weird or not, I am loving these ordinary items made sexy by Urban Prefer. The simple yet attractive white minimalist design might make those meaningless office tasks just a little more exciting.
If you speak Taiwanese, get them here.
Anyone know if these are available stateside?
