When it comes to modern garden accessories (well, everything MINUS planters), it seems the pickings are pretty slim. So, I was pretty pleased to spot Terra Trellis, an offshoot of California-based TerraSculpture Studio. Their collection offers re-imagined, modern versions of classic garden structures, including trellises, arbors, and tuteurs. The hand-welded steel pieces are also available in 7 contemporary colors and finishes, from aubergine to oxide, white to kumquat orange. With such beautiful craftsmanship, I'd consider these less accessories and more pieces of functional art!

Jackpot!!! I haven't seen a single store of objects this well curated since my post on Mjölk. Only this time instead of amazing scandinavian design, Objects of Use has beautiful traditional accessories for the home and garden. The modernist in me loves these simple honest products made of traditional materials. The cleaning and gardening tools are absolutely epic. I honestly didn't even know that an asparagus knife or english oak dibber existed before yesterday, now I'm pretty sure I'll die if I don't have one.
The good news is that the prices are very reasonable, the bad news is that they are located in the UK. I did contact them to see if they ship internationally, and they do. Most of the items are fairly small so shipping shouldn't be too expensive.

You can tell the weather is getting warmer when Capree and I start blogging about watering cans again. The BOCA watering bottle has got me scrambling for something green so I can justify buying it. Made of porcelain it has two spouts, one for fine streams, and one for pouring. It even has a felt ring to catch any droplets of water left behind.

It's gardening time soon, friends! Around this time of year, I'm always keeping my eyes peeled for cool modern (and affordable) garden tools and accessories. This watering can from Sprout Home fits the bill perfectly. Made from polystyrene and completely recyclable, this glossy little number also holds 2 liters of water. Not too shabby. Available in yellow or green.
