It's no secret I have been excited about brass lately, nor is it a secret that I'm sort of obsessed with geometric shapes, so it should be obvious that I like these brass mobiles from AMradio. This himmeli brass mobile is made from brass tubing and white string. Apparently it's based on a Finnish tradition. I'm just going to assume that tradition is being awesome, because that it was those Finns manage to do best. This 7 x 7 x 15 mobile is a great deal for $67. Other sizes and materials are available too and prices range from $45 - $170. Also, make sure you check out the rest of the goodies AMradio has for sale…

For all my love of mobiles, I never knew there was such a thing as a "stabile". This new knowledge might be dangerous, folks. If I start posting about stabiles constantly, please stop me. My obsessions tend to run away from me.
About:
"Alexander" is truly a small piece of art! This colorful tabletop mobile creates hanging structures inspired by the famous Alexander Calder mobiles. Measures 8" x 12". Made entirely out of light weight sheet metal in the USA.

If there's one thing you can always count on from West Elm, it's their collection of white ceramics. The shapes change slightly each year or maybe they add a touch of texture, but they're always beautiful, affordable, and available! I love this new collection of mod textured vases especially, but they also have their Pure collection for those who prefer the smooth variety. While you're at it, check out all their vase collections right here.
Textured Vases from West Elm: $29 - $34
With halloween just around the corner I figured I could slip this one in with out coming off too morbid. These slip cast ceramic skulls from Michael McDowell of Mudpuppy go the extra mile right down to a 22k gold tooth. They would be the icing on the cake for your halloween decorations, and might just be able to find the perfect year round niche in your home.
