Milos Sofa from BoConcept

07Apr10

You may remember how I was looking for that perfect, modern sectional last Fall. We temporarily gave up our search, but I think I might have just found The One in BoConcept’s new Milos sofa. I love the shape and you’ve got to admit it looks pretty dang comfy. Like most of BoConcept’s upholstered furniture, the Milos is available in a ton of fabric options, sizes, and configurations. With prices starting at $1099, this new sofa sounds like a steal. I’m a little wary, though, as I’ve heard some negative things about BoConcept over the years. Unfortunately, they don’t have a store close enough for me to investigate for myself. That’s where you, dear readers, come in! What has your experience been with BoConcept? How is the quality? Please share your thoughts!

I have a platform bed & mattress from BoConcept (in Dallas) LOVE THEM!!!! Style comfort and great sale price.
Got the designer discount based on professional affiliation, you definitely qualify.
Service was terrific, delivery on time.

I sat on the milos sofa at the BoConcept store, and I’m sorry to say that its not particularly comfortable (I really wanted it to be though because it looks so darn good and I could afford it!). It is quite firm and the back rest is an awkward height that does not support your upper back. If you want a comfy Bo sofa, you generally have to stick to the pricier ones, in my experience.

Rae – Thank you SO much! It’s great to hear someone’s actual experience with this sofa. Looks like it’s another case of deceiving looks. Boo!

Ayse – The Canyon sofa is gorgeous! It’s definitely on my list if I ever make it big. ;)
