For the little budding explorer or animal lover in your life, these lights are sure to please! Sized just right for a nightstand or tabletop and made of unbreakable polypropylene, these lamps do not heat up and are safe for use around children. Designed by Ramin Razani for Officine CREA. Though there are 9 different styles, I was only able to find the Giraffe and Elephant readily available for U.S. customers.

    I’m in California. I went to order the giraffe ($94)and the shipping cost was $116. Bring the order to a total of $210. Needless to say, I didn’t place the order. If anyone can find another website that charges less for shipping please let me know. I’m looking for both the cat and the giraffe.

    Whoa, $116?? That’s insane. I’ve tried finding them online, but it seems most of the places selling them are based in Australia or Europe. So, your shipping costs will undoubtedly still be high. I’ll keep looking for a U.S. supplier/shop. :)

    there is a local store here in miami, called Arango (http://www.arango-design.com) that sells the elephant. i don’t know how much it costs, but next time I am in the neighborhood, I will check it out.

    We are actually considering buying the elephant for our baby, due in july, so I’ll keep you posted.

    Hi all, I was just having a look on grassrootsmodern (one of my favourite blogs!) and saw your comments. I know this was back in March, but I thought I would let you know we sell these lights. We are an Australian site, but we ship to the US. There are 3 shipping options – sea mail, air mail or express post international. The express post is expensive, but the other options are not too bad. $AUD15.35 for sea mail, and $AUD21.85 for air mail.
