Mod Walls on Flickr

There really is a Flickr group for just about everything, isn’t there? If you’re needing some inspiration, check out the “Mid-Century and Danish Modern Wall Units and Storage” group. You’ll find everything from vintage ads to current photos of people’s pads. All in all a great resource for creative storage solutions. I particularly enjoyed this house party scene… the wall system isn’t too bad, either!

That’s a great image. It reminds me of the shelving unit I got from Ikea for the studio. On fact, an exact copy, just white and not wood ;-) Love the inspiration!

Love these teak mid-century units. I see them up on Craigslist all the time. A friend of mine designed a bunch of pole and wall mounted systems with which you could really let your imagination run wild using IKEA or custom cabinets for similar effect.

Anyway, for those interested, here’s a link to my friend’s wall and pole systems– I recently saw one of them featured in the special Dwell: Make It Your Own issue. Quite chuffed about that.
