Anson Table

According to inmod, this table is styled after the “legendary designers Charles and Ray Eames”. I guess they are referring to the wire base? In any case the Anson table does have a classic look to the design, one that would make it look good in just about any home. The melamine top comes in either black or white with an exposed plywood core. The pictures are a little misleading because this little guy only measures in at 10″ high and 15″ wide. At that small size I’ve got my eye on it for a bedside table.

Available at inmod for $74.

That looks like a pretty accurate copy of the Eames small wire base table. the laminate top, and the profile of the edge detail is the same.

Good call Greg, I guess I had never seen that one before. Looks like a 100% knock off. I wonder if there is any difference between this one and the one made by Herman Miller that sells for $180? http://hivemodern.com/products/?view=sub_product&sid=1453

Well, I got my Herman Miller made version in 1986, so not sure if the differences still exist, but this is what I see. On my old one the top is not plywood, but sort of a solid blocked core panel – its like the edges are made of solid maple blocks (almost butcher block style) and there is another layer of plastic laminate on the bottom – just brown, not white or black.

Also the legs, mine are zinc coated steel – I think, in any case they are not polished and never have been – and they are saying theirs are stainless.

I rather buy the original. This is a rip-off.

seems you’ve already had it pointed it out to you, creede, but it’s a copy of the original:
