Brio Cribs

In high school I used to work at a small local toy store. We carried a lot of great products, but one of my favorites were the wooden trains by Brio. It looks like Brio is good at more than trains. If these simple wooden cribs are made as well as their other products, they are sure to be bomber. It would be interesting to compare the build quality with some of Ikea’s budget cribs. The bad news is that it doesn’t look like these cribs are sold at any US retailers. At £170 including mattress, it seems like it would be a pretty great value.

Available from Panik Design for £170.00.

Anybody know a US retailer?

I don’t know of a US retailer offering these still after all this time, but they are still really cool cribs. It seems like some of the coolest baby/toddler stuff either starts out in, or is made in Europe. And it’s usually higher quality too, because well, we in the US are obsessed with Walmart, whether we want to be or not since it’s muscled its way in and closed down, effectively so a lot of the cooler more home grown retailers. Europe doesn’t really have that same problem for the most part.
