hmph. my comment i left yesterday apparently never posted. odd. anyway, what i said was something like, "wow! i really like this one. i especially dog the full wall of 1" tile. because i consider myself pretty familiar with ikea's cabinet options, i'm a little confused by the last cabinet against the wall at the end of the table/bar. it has lines down the side to match the drawers, but it has doors with handles around the corner from those lines. are the lines painted on? perhaps they are drawer fronts just attached to the side of a cabinet, which i think could work if you used the 24" ikea cabinet for that one. i'm curious, so please feel free to enlighten me.

supa, supa-cool! not bad on the price...was it a DIY, or pro job? Not to mention ripping out or laying wood over that tile could not have been cheap.

WOW! What a great remodel! It's very inspiring to see the before and after with this kitchen - and the rest of the space, too. That staircase is amazing. I'm excited to see more entries - keep them coming!

I'd like to know the story on their stair too. They went from a pretty ordinary open riser stair to a very cool single stringer.
