Before and After
13May08

It’s amazing how much some paint, flooring an furniture can change a space. Much like our old home, we painted everything bright white (we used Behr pure white eggshell enamel). The white paint, along with getting rid of all the baseboard make the room look so much cleaner. It’s great to finally get our furniture in the house, now we can start to get some of our artwork up and make it look like a home.

looks GREAT! when can i move in?
Very Nice!!
LOVE the high, prairie-style windows in the bedrooms.
Also, may I ask - where did you get the couch? I’m in the market and looking.
Thanks!
Beautiful. Way to find the diamond in the rough. I never thought it would turn out this fabulous. Well done.
Beautiful Job! The place looks great.
Man, this house is practically done already. I was expecting you to be toiling over it for months, but it already looks like a new house. Great work, Creede.
where the drywall meets the floor looks really clean, how did you achieve this? wasn’t there a good sized gap between the floor and drywall?
Wow, those windows in the bedrooms would never pass building code for egress now. God forbid there is ever an emergency that requires a quick escape. The house is looking very good. I, too, like the clean look without baseboards. Most builders would refuse to even try.
thatoneguy: the couch is from ikea. if i remember correctly, they bought it when there was some deal with buy a couch and get 10% of the cost back on a gift card or something like that.

Very very nice. you guys move very quickly, and I’m loving the clean lines.
For the record, I also dig the baseboardless look, nice job.
It looks fantastic! Is that white piece in the living room a chaise or a daybed? Where did you get it?
Mark, Its a daybed. Check it out –> http://www.grassrootsmodern.com/2008/01/11/greene-daybed/
Looks fantastic! What did you do for the floors? Were they under the carpet or did you put them in?
