Nice kitchen! We used the same Imperativ panels. 1 year later and they are rusting!!! It turns out that they were not under warranty like other kitchen items. We are pretty mad because it was so difficult to cut them. Any suggestions?

Do you plan on doing upper cabinets? We barely have enough storage space with them, it is hard to imagine not having them.

Andy and David,

I used a grinder with a cutting wheel to cut out the holes for the outlets. If you don't have one, it's a good excuse to buy one. :) You could probably rent one too, or give a dremel a try if you have one of those. Stainless steel is pretty hard to cut through so you would have to have something pretty decent. I'm sure you could rip it down, but it would leave a rough edge, but that would be covered by the top or bottom piece that holds it to the wall.

Same question here, Creede. What did you use for the electrical cutouts? Do you know if it'd be possible to rip one of those panels to size without ruining it?

Great looking kitchen! It looks like you cut a hole in the backsplash panels for an outlet. Was that difficult, and were special tools needed?
