Lucy Ave - Progress
22Oct07

It has been a long time since the last update and a lot has happened. We finally got our metal panel installed and we
are very happy with the results. We had some difficulty getting the right color and we ended up settling for our second
choice. It couldn’t have worked out any better. The color we ended up with blends in seamlessly with the windows and
creates a beautiful, dark, monolithic effect. We ended up using a company be the name of Double T siding. They have
been quite quick and reasonable to work with. They will finish on Saturday which is only about five days start to finish.
Alta tile came to do the tile in the bathrooms and did a beautiful job.
Benchmark came and built an incredible front fence, fences are the norm in the neighborhood and we felt a little out of
place without one. Watch for more photos of the fence in the future. Now we just need finish plumbing, heat and railings
and we will be ready for a final inspection.

Somebody call the envy police. Man your place is simply amazing. I can’t wait to see the full finished photo gallery.
I have used Alta Tile for years, Jon and Shane and the rest of the crew are by far the best tile setters in the valley. (and fun guys to have around) good job for supporting such a great crew.
Good work!
Would like to know more about your fencing. What type of wood?
cool siding! what is that black metal? can you give some more information on how it is installed and what it costs per sq ft, etc. thanks
awesome! awesome! awesome! congratulations!
Bill, It is all cedar. We had some extra siding material left over. It is all tongue in groove and it is even double sided. It is all finished now, I will show a picture in it’s completed state next time. rr, I am not sure the cost per square foot maybe if Garth or Kenner are out there they could answer. All I know is that it cost over 10k but is well worth it. You should all check out Troy Davis’ site runlesswire.com it was a huge help to us and the switches works really well.
Michelle and Jacob, congrats on moving in! I love the house and i”m excited for your family!!!!!!!
Square foot cost? There isnoting more annoying that finding a pre-fab or a plan that you adore and it’s $300-$400 a sq foot.
