EQ3 Canyon

EQ3 is right up there among my favorite furniture companies. They make a product that is relatively high quality for a price that is quite affordable. It seems like up until now they have focused on the modern contemporary line of furniture, which is just great. Looks like now they are expanding their horizons a little more with their new Canyon line of furniture. Featuring dark wood veneers and more rounded lines, the Canyon series is definitely a kick back to some great mid-century modern design. As all EQ3 products, the prices are fairly reasonable for a great product.

    Thanks, I really like this line also. We purchased the Salema sofa last year and it has been great. Very comfortable and is wonderful with kids, everything wipes off of the fabric (we got the freckle in pesto) easily.

    I love EQ3. We’ve bought a lot of the Nest line from Form Function.

    The walnut color is much less “fancy hotel” looking than the bark. Although the walnut on my TV stand is slightly different from the coffee table and night stand, and it drives me nuts when I notice it. Still the best TV stand for the money I’ve found though.

    We also love EQ3’s style. But when we took delivery of our large 9 foot sofa (the replay), and a chair, the workmanship was pretty shoddy. However, the nice lady at the store was very understanding and apologetic and ordered a new pair for us right away. We also got a note from their headquarters apologizing for the furniture and promising the new ones will be up to spec. So, they at least appear to care about their product - we haven’t recieved the new pieces yet. If the new stuff is right, you can definitely put EQ3 up there with the best style/value combinations out there.

    I looked for a long time for a modern sofa that was a reasonable price. I finally took a chance on this “new” company called eq3. I ordered the SAGA sofa and loveseat, but ordered it in deep blue pacific leather. I have one word for it: FANTASTIC. I love these things. They look like they should cost $5000 apiece. The delivery guys said that the store sales people didn’t want to let them go out. 2 years later, the sofas still look great and are very comfortable. And, umm, my then girlfriend (now wife) loved them for other reasons… I think she married me for my furniture.

    And, now I need a new bed….
