Exterior Photo Slideshow
10Aug07
Many of you have been asking for more pics, so I put a short slideshow together. I should be uploading one with music and better quality soon. I updated the video, and it’s a lot better. Just click on the picture to start playing it. For a reference, the first shots with the maple door are the back of our house. Our house looks almost exactly the same from the front. In the courtyard area was the only place where we put new siding on the old house. As you can see from the pictures, we still need to redo the fascia and soffit.
Enjoy!

WOW! WOW! WOW! Looks great! You really went modern with that dark gray-blue exterior color. What do the neighbors think? Jealous, I’m sure.
The house looks great. I love the color, look etc. I also love the mulch landscaping, keeps it simple, and clean.
I’m looking for a front door just like yours. Curious where you got it

Hello
I choose the iron gray for our come in Michigan and I can not see the other images of your home on this website. I would love to see the final project completed. Will you please help me out because you have had some great reviews.
Thanks
Brenda
First of all let me say excellent job! Very clean!Could you please give me a update on how your Hardie Rainscreen has been working out for you now that it has been exposed to the elements for some time. I am planning on doing the same kind of setup and wonder if you have had any issues come up. I actually just spoke to a Hardie rep and he thought there might be a issue of water leaching through the back side of the board and effecting the colorplus paint. In other words how is the Colorplus holding up? Also do you have any issues with bugs getting in behind the rainscreen and making nest?
Very cool application of (otherwise ugly when beveled) Hardie siding. Looks really great. Classic modern look. Almost wish I’d seen this before….
My question to you guys is how you are dealing with, if you have any issue, insects/bugs getting in to the space behind the siding?
I am about to tackle (long overdue) installation of T&G Cedar siding and firmly believe in allowing air space between house wrap and siding. Thinking about putting up a mesh product called “Home Slicker” that will create about 1/4 of air space behind siding. Furring strips would not work as well for me since they will have to be horizontal (cedar siding will be vertical)
