My grandmother bought a few pallets of Zoysia and got me to put it out checkerboard. The neighbors thought she was crazy, but it filled in the next summer and it looks fantastic now. Looks great and can't beat the price. I'm so jealous of those who live in urban areas and have craigslist. I live in a smallish midwestern university town ... why can't we have craigslist here? wah!
