True Modern
Modern baby goods is a hot new market, but there have been surprisingly few new players. True Modern is the new kid on the block, and they are doing their best to shake up the market a little with their affordable modern baby furniture. Founded by Edgar Blazona of prefab fame, True Modern has a solid history of modern design that fits the common budget. For example the Changing Table Dresser shown to the right is only $699. Reminiscent of Blu Dot this simple furniture is a great deal, it features simple lines and birch veneers with accent colors to spice things up a little. Besides their furniture line, they also have bedding which is similarly affordable.

Yowsers! I wish I could afford that for my little one. I do love it though! There definately are few players in the modern baby furniture/products category. Most of the modern baby furniture out there is very appealing, but difficult to justify spending that kind of money on.
I agree Markus, $700 is a ton to spend on a kids dressor. We will be going with a $90 ikea dressor for our kid. It is quite a bit cheaper than some of the other modern kids changing tables out there. I guess affordable is a relative term.
