A modern stroller?

Images P B000Jjh4Tm.16. Sclzzzzzzz Ss384 V43632423 We are getting ready to buy a stroller, and I think we have finally decided which one to get. I never knew it could be so hard to pick something that sounds so simple. One thing that I really wanted in a stroller was to be able to have it front or rear facing. Most strollers with that option cost a pretty penny unfortunately. We decided on the Britax Vigour. It does both front and rear facing, it has good sized wheels, and it is fairly easy to fold up. Plus I kind of like the lurpy look of it.

Does anyone have the Britax Vigour? Do you like it?

Available from Target for $349.

    First tip:

Based on reviews in there, and the design appeal, we’ve got everything Chicco. We have their travel system, with the Keyfit seat bases, baby carrier/car seat, stroller that accommodates the baby carrier then switches to a seat stroller. We got the umbrella stroller for later at our baby shower, and the Polly high chair.

SO, I don’t know what phase you’re in and who that’s intended for. Our baby’s to arrive any day, and my opinions are unproven. Check out the Baby Bargains reviews, though, and I think our Chicco travel system was less than $350.

that’s a great looking stroller! and it’s not as expensive as the high end mod stuff.

we contemplated shelling out for the bugaboo, but then we found out we were having twins! :) we did manage to pick out things that aren’t gross though — a major accomplishment when it comes to buying baby stuff on a budget.

If you’re going to go THAT high end, I’d pay the extra $50 for Phil and Ted’s stroller. It’s expandable, and the Britax seems to be a knockoff of it. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000O5MW4S/ref=wl_it_dp/002-5040544-6208022?ie=UTF8&coliid=I3TEX3LXPBUYKS&colid=1VXRMTMV5RSI5

Otherwise, seriously, it’s only a stroller. Why not go for the Baby Trends one that actually passed the controversial crash tests (one of two) for Consumer Reports. It’s also from Target but takes a heck of a long time to get.

BTW, I HIGHLY recommend the Plain Zane blanket no matter what stroller you get.(hopefully Charlene has updated her site so you can actually order one there! edit: nope). They’re fantastic, well made, and have a nice mod design.

Sorry for the double post but, you really have to check out Phil and Ted’s metoo chair as well. http://www.regallager.com/products/pt/metoo.aspx

I wish we had bought that instead of our current high chair.

Really like all of Phil and Ted’s product designs.

We have the Phil and Ted and love it. It is our 4th stroller - but when baby number 2 came we needed a double - and most of those are SUPER ugly. The Phil and Ted is modern looking and tops any of the ones we went through our tried out in the store…
