We finally got around to buying a shower. We used some left over Christmas money and splurged a little bit. We ended up with the Danze parma tub/shower combo shown above. We obviously don’t need the tub part, but that lets us use the diverter that is below the faucet handle to switch the water over to the handheld faucet that is mounted on the bar. Total price for everything was close to a staggering $370. Now all I have to do is get it all installed.

I chose that model for my home as well. Couldn’t be happier - though it doesn’t fit quite the way I want. I don’t know if I didn’t install the valve in the wall at the proper depth or if I’m missing a trim piece. Let me know how yours turns out. Keep up the good work.

    Thats a beautiful Faucet..

Faucets are what got me into Modernism in the first place, I kid you not.

Jerad, I’ll be sure to let you know how it turns out. I hope I can get the fit right.

Martin, Thats great. Everyone has their own little niche that they love. Me, it’s Eames, and bentwood.

We also have that model for our master bath.

Make sure to read ALL the installation instructions (rough in AND trim) before you decide on the depth of your rough. Our plumber didn’t read the instructions so the rough was too long and now the trim valve won’t screw on all the way which makes the escutcheon spin. It still works, but we’re going to have to fiddle w/it some how.

It looks spectacular, though. :-) http://flickr.com/photos/nicoleherold/350472098/in/set-72157594449185777/
