The Decemberists Live from SoHo

24Jan07

Apple iTunes Last night I was at a friends house helping put up some trim, and we were listening to The Shins. They are one of my favorite new bands, along with the Decemberists. So if you are a Shins lover, and have never heard of the Decemberists, click on the picture to get a taste of their goodness.

What other music are you guys listening to?

I’ve been listening to the Decemberists and a quite bit of Sufjan Stevens during the winter. I saw Doc Watson in early December and I can’t get enough of his stuff. It helps that the computer pumps music into the kitchen… the scene of my procrastination.

That Gleason fellow from Salt Lake gave me some crazy bluegrass mix of his…that’s been on the playlist as well. I don’t know any of the bands though. They’re all good.

I’m looking into that Hardie Trim! Thanks!

Never heard of Sufjan Stevens, I’ll have to check it out. Yeah Gleason is a crazy guy, his little band rocks. Check out their myspace page—-> http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=106499403&MyToken=ab29faff-4615-4d3b-b076-e8e6a50af75e
