For some time I have been double posting everything to our forums, thinking replies would be easier to search there. Some people still are commenting below the posts here.

Looks like comments in the posts wins! I will stop double posting in the forums from now on. Feel free to always start a new topic over there if you have a question.
Could you change the layout so that the “recent forum comments” wasn’t so far down? That column is so narrow, notice how it dips WAY below the left column. Either widening the column, or moving “recent forum comments” above “tags” and “search” would get the forum stuff more exposure.
Good suggestions chad, I’ll look into it.
Also, I agree with the third option “ideally, clicking the comments on the post would link you to the forum page1″ As soon as I find someone savy enough to code it, that is what I will do I think.
It is really simple from the users perspective if they are right here on the page and not somewhere else. I like to be able to refer back and forth to the original post.
