I don't know about that filler business. The main draw for me is definitely the DIY modern stuff that you're doing at your house, but I've also purchased a lot of things that you have featured on your site. I think you have a pretty good balance going.

If other people are doing low-buck diy remodels (like that one guy who did a mid-century rambler in Seattle and mentioned it in the forum), I'd be all for it. Otherwise, yours is the only blog of this type that I visit daily, and I do so because I like it as is. Thanks!

Wes, thanks for the input. I would love to have guest bloggers, the hard part is finding them. I think that everyone likes to hear about my house remodel, I figure the rest is basically filler. Should get lots better when we do our addition. After that I always plan on blogging my other shop projects.

Thanks for the vote!

I voted on the user submitted entry, but it was a toss-up between that and "no changes". I love the blog the way it is, personally, but if I was to make any change I'd like to hear more about other projects. I think my favorite topic though is probably just reading about your own home reno. My gf and I will be buying in the next couple of years, and we have no need of an especially large space (no kids in our future :P) – definitely quality over quantity.

Perhaps you could seek out some guest bloggers to give local perspectives from their own areas? Hmm.. I should have added that as an answer. :)
