Bathroom sink

As we started into our bathroom remodel, we started looking for some affordable yet chic new fixtures. One of the first big obstacles was to find a above mount square sink. We wanted above mount (vessel) for a couple of reasons. First it makes the concrete countertop a lot easier, since there is no knockout for the sink, and second, we like the look. Let me rephrase that, we like the look of square vessel sinks. It complements the simple modern design we have for our vanity and the japanese influence that the ofuro will bring to the bathroom. We went to a local plumbing supply called Standard Plumbing to look at their showroom. Nada. We mostly were ignored as we wandered around, but finally someone was nice enough to pay attention to us and answer our questions. They recommended Miro Ceramica for square vessel sinks. We ended up with the one shown above, which I believe was called the box 50. They had it in stock, and even gave us contractor pricing, so we got it for $120, which was a total steal. We couldn’t be happier. Now we just need a facet.

I love this.
so did you end up buying it at standard plumbing?
are you doing a fawcet out of the wall or a high one out of the countertop?
what kind of vanity are you using.
i like this sink.. I’ve been looking for a vessel sink for a while to go on a concrete countertop…. and hopefully on a home-made modern vanity with a cool wood veneer.
That’s a sexy looking sink. I could see a pair of them in a his and hers bathroom.
i found a smaller ceramic vessel sink at http://www.800saving.com. they also have glass sinks, stone sinks, and faucets
dc, yea I got it at standard. I got a high faucet to go with it, I’ll post pics. The vanity I made out of walnut. So far it’s just the carcass, no drawers. More on that soon too.
LOVE the vessel. Love.
Your sink is very elegant with its clean lines and geometric shape, but didn’t you considered an handmade more rustic one?
um, nope

I love the sink but the price is double what you paid. How can I get it for the 120 you paid?
