Flokati Rugs
For those of you who don’t know about Flokati Rugs, its time we let you in on a little secret. They rock. These traditional Greek rugs are the perfect covering for any penny pinching modernist. They have been around for a long time, for a little history check out Flokati.com. The great thing about flokati rugs is that they are both affordable and timeless. Its not a look that is going to look played in a couple of years. Prices will depend on the shag factor. Longer pile, higher price. If you go with a short pile (rated in grams/m2) a typical 5′ x 8′ can be had for just over a hundred bucks. There are deals to be had though. Check out overstock.com for a 13′ x 10′ for only $379.
Or you can always check froogle. Just stay away from the colored ones please.
